Kineret is in her second year of teaching English at St Cuthbert’s College in Auckland, and is already pushing the boundaries of innovation. Her teaching philosophy of being on a supportive journey alongside her students who are creating their own pathways to success is demonstrated through her work every day.

This was recently highlighted by a relationship built between her students and the neighbouring residential care home Elizabeth Knox. Together, they shared their life journeys through powerful poetic videos made by the young students. Kineret’s enthusiasm and passion for learning is motivating and contagious. Her own dreams and aspirations are to help young people to learn how to listen more deeply to themselves, while cultivating a strong trust in their own wisdom and dreams.

She also dreams of writing books and a play, as well as mentoring youth outside of the school environment.
