About Top of The Class

Top of the class is a website designed by the University of Auckland’s Faculty of Education and Social Work to raise awareness and champion the amazing work of teachers throughout New Zealand and the impact that teachers make on the lives of thousands of children.

It aims to reposition teaching in the minds of the those who are driven to make a difference to the future of New Zealand and showcase teaching as a rewarding, challenging, stimulating, influential, diverse, worthwhile career.
